The Association for Recorded Sound Collections is pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 ARSC Awards for Excellence in Historical Recorded Sound Research.
Gerry’s autobiography: Being Gerry Mulligan: My Life in Music has won a Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Historical Recorded Sound Research in Recorded Jazz.
The goal of the ARSC Awards Program is to recognize and draw attention to the finest work now being published in the field of recorded sound research. The award will be presented at a ceremony at ARSC’s annual conference, which will be hosted May 15-18, 2024 in St. Paul, MN.
